If you are between 10 and 17 years old and are interested in adventure, why not join us? Sea Cadets receive training aboard Navy and Coast Guard ships, attend specialized training schools and wear US Navy uniforms marked with Sea Cadet Corps insignia. Click on the Tour and FAQ buttons to see videos and learn more about what cadets learn and do, and the types of Sea Cadet units within the Raleigh Battalion.
We invite you to be our guest at one of our monthly drills to get a taste of the Sea Cadets. Our drills are normally held one weekend each month from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. One of your parents will need to talk to the officers when you arrive. Click on the Contact Us button to request more information about the Sea Cadets program, directions to the drill site, or the drill schedule. BE SURE TO CONTACT US BEFORE YOU COME to make sure the unit isn't off at a field trip or other activity that day, and to arrange access to the drill site (which may be closed to civilians).
So, kick-back, relax and browse the site. Many questions you may have will be answered. If not, please send the commander an email from the "Contact Us" page with your questions or comments. Your questions will be answered promptly.
